Longaberger Baskets, in Dresden, has a wonderful gift shop and factory tours.
Amish country--a little ways beyond--is a large, 3-county area known for its shops, restaurants, and scenery.

| 23 |   | This will bring you to Millersburg, the seat of Holmes County, in the heart of the Ohio Amish country. Take a few brochures at one of the many shops and tour the area to your heart's content. When you're done come back to Millersburg. Then retrace your steps: |

Proceed north a mile or two to the town of Granville; have dinner at the Buxton Inn or the Granville Inn, or just walk around the downtown and the nearby Denison University campus.
Then proceed south on 661; it will turn into SR 37 just south of town. Follow another 25 miles or so to Lancaster and the fairgrounds.
